Submitting data

Submitting data is easy, just contact the DASSH team by phone (+44 (0)1752 633291) or email (dassh.enquiries@mba.ac.uk) to discuss your data/images and archive requirements. DASSH can accommodate a wide range of electronic data types and file formats, and data can be submitted by post (on suitable media), by email or by File Transfer Protocol (FTP).

However, before contacting us, it would be useful if you could view the DASSH Terms and Conditions - our Terms and Conditions are important and protect the copyright of our data and image providers. In other words, they protect our Web site and your data or images from misuse.

What about physical datasets, slides, film etc?

The archive also holds physical media, e.g. scientist's notebooks, drawings, survey reports, films/slides and video tapes. The physical archive prioritise 'legacy data' that is 'at risk', i.e. where the host institution can no longer hold the material, the institution has closed or the scientist(s) have retired. DASSH will deal with requests to hold physical media on a case-by-case basis. Please contact DASSH to discuss your requirements.
